Online Donations

The Center has partnered with Groundsprings.org to provide our donors with a secure, fast and easy way to donate to The Center! With our new online donation program, you can donate one time or setup recurring donations! Donating online is the easiest way to support the ongoing services we provide to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault crimes. At this time VISA, MASTERCARD, and AMERICAN EXPRESS are accepted. As an alternative to online donations, you can still write checks to The Center for Women and Families.


Room Sponsorship Program

Our Room Sponsorship program is a great way for you or your organization to help! Each room you sponsor will have a plaque with your name on it. You can also sponsor rooms in memory of a loved one.

Your sponsorship will help us to maintain our counseling rooms and will help maintain each one of our rooms at Kathie's Place, The Center's domestic violence safe house. All sponsorships will last one year from the time the donation is received. At the end of the year, you will have the opportunity to renew for another year!

In-Kind Donations and Wish Lists
The Center has composed a list of items we are in need of. For those of you with used small home goods and used clothing, may we suggest taking them to our partners at Community Closet? They are located at 475 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Our clients shop there for NO CHARGE, and they have the storage space we lack.

Recycled Cell Phone Program
Purchasing a new cell phone soon and not really sure what to do with your old one? Look no further! Pager Wizard of Bridgeport has partnered with The Center to help raise funds for The Center's programs. You can drop off your old cell phones at The Center or at Pager Wizard on behalf of The Center! Your kind donation not only will help save our environment, but you will be helping to support the services we offer to the families in our community.
